I have been overwhelmed by the love and support my family and I have received since we found out I have breast cancer. I want everyone to know of my sincere appreciation for the many prayers and messages of support, especially the fast in which so many were participating. My family is setting up this blog as a way to keep people updated on my progress. Thank you so much for your love.

The journey begins
Today is the surgery which is the first step back to a somewhat normal life. We were scheduled to come to the hospital at 12:00, but they had a cancellation and were able to get us in a little early. After all the pre-op, we were actually heading into the OR at about 12:15pm. The first surgery is supposed to take about 2 hours. Everything appears to be going smoothly.

Becky I just want to say thank you for always being a good example to me I love you so much and I am grateful for our friendship. Someone told me not so long ago that our Heavenly Father gives the toughest battles to his strongest warriors, I know you are so strong as well as your sweet family, but I know you will feel so weak at times, but remember he loves you and he has given you so many people whom will battle with you and do anything for you and your family just lean on them!!!
ReplyDeleteBecky, We are so sorry to hear this. We will pray for you and your family. We wish you the best. We realize that Braden married way above himself (as most of us men do) but we know he is a great man and he will be there for you. Good luck, your idaho friends.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything....I wish the best for you. You and your family will be in my prayers!!! Sue Ann (Robins)Kelsey
